This short film introduces the character of songwriting private detective Maxwell Miller and chronicles the case that took him from Austin to Nashville.

After he recovers a stolen guitar for a wealthy client, Max discovers that he's become just the latest link in a long line of theft. He plots to trick the competing thieves out of their prize, make a nice little profit, and return the instrument to it's rightful owner.
